🔀Proxies for Telegram Cloud

When working with Telegram Cloud, the use of proxy servers is currently mandatory. In this article, we will explain why this is necessary and how to connect.

A proxy server is an intermediary in the transmission of information between the user and the service. It helps provide anonymity and hides information about the user's location.

Telegram accounts can be banned for various reasons, such as location, device, or IP address, and using a proxy helps hide this data to avoid being blocked.

Where to get a proxy?

To get a proxy, you need to buy one. We recommend using the service PROXY6.NET, but you can choose other exchanges, there are many of them.

Which proxy to buy:

  • The proxy protocol should be socks5; in the recommended service, this is selected at the time of purchase;

  • The proxy format should be IPv4; in the recommended service, there are two suitable options — IPv4 and IPv4 (shared);

  • The proxy country should match the country of the Telegram account registration;

  • The output format should be as follows: IP, port, login, password. In the above service, this data is provided after purchase and can be found in your personal account under the "Proxy" tab.

There are individual and shared proxies for sale — the latter are, of course, cheaper, but several people have access to them. Keep in mind that they may also use the proxy to connect to Telegram, and the limit may be triggered.

How to use a proxy?

In your Selarti personal account, open the section "Channels" and create a new or select an existing channel with the type "Telegram Cloud".

Connect the channel as in the channel setup instructions.

After connecting the Telegram account, open the channel again, enable the checkbox "Use proxy" and fill in the displayed fields with the data from the purchased proxy. Click “Save” — after connecting the channel, the button name will change.
